Girl survivors of trafficking and sexual violence- Save the Children, Uk
This work, commissioned by Save the Children, focuses on girl survivors of trafficking and sexual violence. It highlights the stories of girls trafficked from Bangladesh to the neighbouring country of India, later rescued and brought to shelter homes for repatriation and rehabilitation. The repatriation process often takes a significant amount of time, requiring the girls to spend years in shelter homes in India due to the laws of both countries. Even after repatriation, the girls frequently need to stay in shelter homes for extended periods in Bangladesh for safety and security reasons. Reintegrating into society and returning to a normal life is challenging due to the psychological trauma they have endured.
